Comprehensive Financial Planning

Secure Planning Strategies recognizes the importance of financial planning as a process that identifies and integrates the three stages of the financial life cycle: Accumulation, Preservation and Distribution. Traditionally, Accumulation occurs between the ages of 20 and 50. Individuals and families define goals and work toward saving for particular items such as a home or a car, or for future goals such as their children’s education or retirement. Preservation is distinguished as the time when individuals develop financial strategies beyond the goal of accumulation and they begin to provide for a financially independent retirement that allows for the same standard of living they have been accustomed to during pre-retirement years. Finally, Distribution is the point at which individuals begin to allow for the transition and distribution of assets accumulated for retirement years, as well as developing sound financial strategies to pass on to the next generation.

Traditionally, these stages have progressed as an individual progressed through life. Today, with people working longer and moving through various jobs/careers, these stages have begun to merge with one another and may occur at any point in life.

As wealth managers and financial advisers, we believe that the success of a plan lies in the focusing and coordination of each of the following segments:

  • Cash Flow Analysis
  • Income Tax Planning
  • Investment Planning
  • Insurance Planning
  • Retirement Planning
  • Estate/Business & Succession Planning

We begin our process by:

  • Helping you recognize your objectives and goals
  • Analyzing your assets, liabilities and any existing plan
  • Determining planning options and strategies
  • Establishing a realistic and practical plan for now and the future
  • Monitoring the plan and the results

Throughout the process we clarify each step, continually educating you about each recommendation making each decision a collaborative effort.
